Finding Products
There are two ways to find the items you are looking for on www.mairssonsjewelry.com: Searching by Keyword or Item Number in the search box or by Browsing the links from the Home Page. No matter which method you use, you will find a variety of sorting functions to help you find what you are looking for.


Learning More about Items
If you would like more information about an item you see on www.mairssonsjewelry.com, simply click on the item. This will take you to a product detail page that provides a complete description of the item. Click on an attribute of the item (ex: Metal Color, Stone Type) for a glossary of terms.


Adding Items to Your Shopping Cart
 1. Before clicking Add to Cart, make note of the availability of the item (ex: Please allow 1-2 full business days for delivery). This tells you when we expect to ship your item from our distribution center. Once your item has left our distribution center, the shipping method you select during checkout will determine when your order will arrive.

For example, if your item usually ships from our distribution center in 1 business day, and you select "Overnight" shipping, it may actually take 2 full business days for your order to arrive. For more information, see Calculating Delivery Time.

Note: Your order must be received and your credit card authorized by 11:00 a.m. CT or your order may not be processed until the following business day.

 2. Select a quantity and/or size by selecting a number in the drop-down menu.

 3. Next, click the Add to Shopping Bag button to add the item to your Shopping Cart.


Viewing Item Availability
A product's availability is noted on the product detail page (ex: Please allow 1 - 2 full bus. days for delivery) as well as in the Shopping Cart (ex: In Stock: Leaves distribution center in 1-2 full bus. days).

Most items on our site are In Stock and ready to ship. Some items require extra time for sizing or other adjustments (Special Order items).


Special Order Items
Special Order items require some additional time before they can be shipped. Expected adjustment time (for example, "Special Order: Allow 4-6 weeks for delivery") is indicated on the Product Detail page. Your Special Order item will be shipped once your item is ready, your payment is approved, and the receiving address is verified. You will be notified of the status of your Special Order item by e-mail.


Calculating Delivery Time
Delivery Time = Distribution Center Handling Time + Shipping Time

Distribution Center Handling Time is the amount of time it will take for your order to leave our warehouse.

 When you view an item on the product detail page or in your Shopping Bag, make note of its availability (ex: Please allow 1 - 2 full bus. days for delivery). This tells you when we expect to ship your item from our distribution center. Once your item has left our distribution center, the shipping method you select during checkout will determine when your order will arrive.

Shipping Time is the amount of time it will take for your order to leave our distribution center.

 The shipping method you select during checkout (FedEx 2Day, Overnight or Saturday delivery) will determine the time it will take the order to arrive after it has left our distribution center.

For example, if your item usually ships from our distribution center in 1 business day, and you select "FedEx Overnight" shipping, it may actually take 2 full business days for your order to arrive.
